  1. Food & Beverage Attendants

    The Shellharbour Club

    We are on the search for experienced and talented casual Food and Beverage Attendants to join our exceptional team. If you have an outgoing, energetic personality and hospitality is more than just a job for you, we look forward to you joining our team of amazing people.  


    There has never been a more exciting time to join our team. Have you seen what is coming?


    Our newest food and beverage and event space will be opening in May 2017 which will take the best of street food, street art, AV and performance. Known as ‘Precinct’, the new space will include FOUR NEW food outlets and an event space which will provide a unique space for weddings, special occasions, corporate events and workshops.


    The Role

    As a Food and Beverage Attendant you will be responsible for the following:

    • Wait service, including delivery of meals to patrons and clearing tables.
    • Assisting in functions and events.
    • Bar service, including mixing and serving drinks to patrons.
    • Taking orders and assisting patrons with menu choices.
    • Floor duties, including the collection of glasses and general cleaning.


    Key skills and experience for the role:

    • Previous experience in a similar role.
    • Exceptional personal presentation.
    • Energetic individuals with outstanding customer service skills.
    • Positive team players with a flexible, hands-on approach and a strong work ethic.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Good working knowledge of WH&S principles, food safety and hygiene.
    • Ability to work days, nights, split shifts and weekend shifts.
    • Current RSA qualification.

  2. Chef

    The Shellharbour Club

    There has never been a more exciting time to join our large kitchen team at The Shellharbour Club. Have you seen what is coming?

    Our newest food establishments 'Precinct' will be open MAY 2017 which will take the best of street food, street art, AV and performance while bringing FOUR NEW food outlets to the Shellharbour region. The outlets will include Big Time BBQ, Dynasty Dumplings, Rancho Grande Taqueria which is all about Mexican food and Bon Bon as we cannot forget about mouth-watering desserts.  There will also be private dining areas and a separate industrial and edgy space available for celebrations.

    We only want the very best to join our progressive and innovative team, which means you will be a hands-on Chef who knows the market, understands existing and emerging trends in food and be outcome focused. You will also be willing to assist the kitchen management with monthly stock-takes, completion of daily food safety checklists and other compliance related documentation.

    Ultimately, you will be looking to make a positive contribution to the culinary team and to the Club's future while taking advantage of the potential career path on offer as the Club continues to move forward. 

    You will need to be able to demonstrate:

    • Relevant trade qualifications.
    • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast paced, high volume venue.
    • Intermediate knowledge of a range of different cuisines and cooking styles.
    • Previous experience providing a high level of customer service to members, guests, visitors and fellow employees.
    • Strong knowledge and experience of WH&S, Food safety and hygiene practices.


    Most importantly you will need to have a passion for food and commitment to working in a busy and challenging environment. You must be flexible and able to work a range of shifts across days, evenings and nights including split shifts.
