Types of Questions
All interviews will contain behavioural based questions that will ask the candidate specifically how they have may have handled or faced a previous situation, task, challenge or about specific procedures. The Selection Panel are primarily interested in the "behaviours" the candidate exhibited when trying to get through the specific situation or task and what the outcomes/learnings were. Essentially in the candidate’s responses, the selection panel are interested in the Situation, Action and Result/Outcome.
A sample behavioural question a candidate may be asked, "Please provide an example of when you have delivered a high standard of customer service?"
Therefore, when preparing for an interview it is important to think of different scenarios that you can use if posed with one of these types of questions.
